Hello beautiful people and welcome to my blog. It’s #blogmas day 3 and we’re still going.
So today’s blog is going to be abit of encouragement for anyone going through a tough time. Sadly this season may not be a jolly one for everyone which is sad but an unfortunate reality.
Today has been one of those days were I felt low, upset, sad and even cried. It’s not been the best day and I am still getting used to the idea that it’s okay to cry every now and then. I’m thankful I have people that are able to comfort me during this time and give me some encouragement because not everyone has that. Everybody deals with things differently and for me I’m starting to understand that talking is better than pushing everything under a rug and pretending everything is fine. Sometimes things won’t be fine and that’s okay. Sometimes you won’t feel your best and that’s okay. Well the point is it’s okay not to be okay.
If you are reading this and are having a bad day, although I may not understand what you are going through and maybe you feel nobody can. I am here to tell you everything will be okay. Maybe not today or tomorrow but eventually everything will be okay. So cry it out, journal it,speak to someone(If you have nobody…I’m here for you), pray then wipe those tears and pick yourself up.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just need to keep going. Don’t give up. You’re almost there.
I will leave you with a Bible verse and one of my favourite gospel songs that reminds me that no matter what I face, God is with me and he’s in control so therefore I will not loose hope.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.’”
Happy Holidays
