BE KIND

Hello beautiful people and welcome back to my blog. I hope you’re having a great week, I believe we’re on Week 8 of lockdown and although some changes may be happening with loosening the rules of lockdown, we still need to be very careful.

Today I want to talk about something I’ve noticed during this time, I’ve noticed an increase in people being so unkind and it’s really sad. Especially online, I feel like being stuck at home is really bringing the ugly out of people. KINDNESS IS FREE!! I love social media the freedom, the laughter and everything good about it, but what I don’t like is the trolling and the mean comments. There is a fine line between a joke and being absolutely mean. You really don’t need to have an opinion on everything, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all! Weren’t you told that as a kid??

Personally I have not received any form of cyberbullying, mainly because my platforms are still growing and not really exposed to everyone. As for celebrities, instagram celebrities, influencers, public figures, and really anyone with a spotlight, my heart goes out to them and I honestly pray for their mental well-being because the things people have the audacity to say about these people really makes me question their morals and values. YOU CANNOT WISH DEATH UPON SOMEONE BECAUSE YOU’RE UNHAPPY WITH THEM!! Like can we actually deep that, you’re sat behind a screen typing such things on someone else! Someone you don’t know personally!Someone you know through a platform! Like this just confuses me.

Like I said kindness is free! What kind of person are you portraying yourself to be by being so mean! Let us learn to be kind to one another because truly you never know what someone is going through and your meanness could actually encourage someone to hurt themselves. Being a public figure definitely requires tough skin however just because someone is a public figure doesn’t mean they DON’T have feelings just like you! Everyone has their flaws, insecurities and what not, you don’t need to remind anyone of their flaws because truly you wouldn’t want someone picking at your flaws like that!

You really never know what someone is going through, social media shows the positive, the living my best life. Social media shows you what you want to see, the pretty and not the ugly! So it’s important to be mindful on how you address people online and even in real life! Because you’re really just portraying the kind of person you are by being mean!

I’m really just trying to encourage everyone to be kind as this helps with the way we communicate, it helps to sustain our relationships whether amicable, romantic or family relationships. Being kind to others helps us to be more positive and loving.

Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would like them to do to you

1 Peter 3:8 Finally all of you should be of one mind. Sympathise with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted and keep a humble attitude.

Even the bible tells us to be kind! The point I’m trying to make is BE KIND ALWAYS! Treat people the way you’d like to be treated, I really don’t think anyone is out here wanting to receive negativity! There is so much going on in the world, don’t be one to add onto the negativity! I just want to encourage everyone to be kinder! Practice being kind, be quiet when you don’t have anything nice to say and most of all once again BE KIND ALWAYS!

What a world it would be if we were all kind!

That’s all I had to share today. Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week. Encouraging you to be KIND! and sending love and positive vibes to everyone.

xx
