Hello beautiful people and welcome back to Mimmacula’s Kitchen.
It’s Friday! Everybody is excited for the weekend. I hope you all have fantastic weekend plans whether it’s relaxing at home or doing something with your loved ones, enjoy yourself and make great memories.
So I am gonna start a trend on my blog where I’m gonna be sharing recipes on Fridays #FoodieFriday. I love cooking and most of the time I always change the recipes to my own liking and it turns out amazing. One thing I like unless I’m cooking for more than one person, is that most of my meals don’t take more than half an hour to make and I love that. As much as I love cooking, spending too much time in the kitchen can get overwhelming. So let’s get started..
King Prawns Lemon Pasta
- Mixed Vegetables
- King Prawns
- Chilli Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- All-Purpose Seasoning
- Lemon Juice
I had some leftover Spaghetti, which saved me some time. I began by frying the king prawns in Chili Olive Oil, added salt and pepper and lemon juice, once they were golden, I put them aside. I then fried the mixed vegetables, adding a pinch of salt and pepper and half a spoon of All-Purpose Seasoning, stir fry for about 5 minute on medium heat, then add the spaghetti and prawns to the mix. Let it cook for a couple more minute, add a little more lemon juice and then voila…. Dinner is ready!!
This took no more than 30min to make and it was delicious. You could have it like that or you could add a side, extra vegetables, salad or anything else to the meal. I added al dente boiled cauliflower and it was delicious.
I loved this combination and will try to experiment more with pasta, I tend to do more with rice and this was a different approach although I really liked this meal, rice is still my favourite.
What do you prefer?
RICE or PASTA?
Let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this quick little dinner inspiration. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Stay Safe.
